arthurG from AG audio has posted on here a lot actually. he's always seemed very helpful, with good knowledge and experience of compression drivers in particular. so it's seemed to me anyway..

haven't noticed him posting on here in ages though actually...

Ok if you need supply a nice sounding system for 300/500 people Opus is fine but thats it.
If you want to start doing big events you need so much kit it starts to become very hard work.

We all by now the ups and downs with Flat fronted cab design

Yes, there are some pros and cons to both.

PROS REFLEX: If the level needs to be kept low and contained within a small room / venue or tent the reflex / flat fronted cabinet(s) will win all day.
PROS REFLEX : If your looking for more of a ''one box solution'' then again reflex / flat fronted type is better.

CONS REFLEX: You need ALOT of it to do any venue above 500
CONS REFLEX : You will never get that 40Hz body shaking feel Wink

PROS HORNLOADED: You need less cabinets to do a venue
PROS HORNLOADED: When supplying a system for dance/D&B/house etc etc ive found it works a lot better and promoters tend to perfer the sound of hornloaded cabinets.
PROS HORNLOADED: You DO get that 40Hz body shake LOL

CONS HORNLOADED: Dont work that well for live bands
CONS HORNLOADED: Sometimes a bit tooooo much AARRRRRR for people
