we currently have 2 18" scoops & 1 double 18" G sub.
we're gonna be using 2 x-tro's to do everything else on top. what i was wondering is, is it possible to run the scoops & the G sub all doing the Sub bass, leaving the 2 x-tro's to do the 'kick' bass? i read somewhere that scoops and G subs cant be used together doing sub....is this true? or is a case of setting delays on the crossover to sort out the phasing? I want the system to have plently of low end, but also plenty of kick ya can feel in ya chest! playing mostly D&B, Dubstep, jungle etc any advice could be great! |

find out which cab goes lowest and which goes highest... and make a 5way system.. Say the Gsub went lowest.. stick that on bottom, an the cross it over at somewhere like 60Hz.. then from 60Hz up use the Scoops upto about 90-100Hz... an above that use the Xtros...
