Hi everyone! Sorry if I make a linguistic mistake, I'm learning English. A few years ago I build Cubo 15 STANDARD, and I used a driver where Qts x Vas = 50.3 So I should make a Cubo Extended or Extra Extended due to: Qts x Vas > 120, Cubo Standard Qts x Vas = 100 - 120, Cubo Extended or Standard Qts x Vas < 100, Cubo Extended Qts x Vas < 50; Cubo 15 Extra Extended Anybody tell me a general difference between the Standard and Extended version when I use a driver which has Qts x Vas = 50.3 ? I guess that this affects the frequency response, but how? What else? Thank you! :)

the extended versions are tuned lower in freq., which leads to a smaller+lower bandwidth by design - the lower they are tuned, the "weaker" the driver could be without having much of a negative impact on the natural response/bandwidth/they are more forgiving re. TSP.

Thank!
Compared to the vented box, I understand it like this: I made a port too short in a vented box, so for example f3 is on 50hz level but I should make a longer port to obtain f3 at 40hz level to obtain the correct and the best freq response. So if I want to obtain lower bandwidth in my Cubo I should remake it from a Standard to an Extended version, yes? |

with your driver, extra extended might be best..
if you post what driver it is exactly it would help.
