Well the void V18-1000 has a Vas of 201 (near as makes no difference) and that sounds amazing in super scoopers buy all accounts. However, that doesn't mean the one you have in mind will, as some of the other parameters may be different.
Do you have a specific driver in mind? If so info please!! HTH Jho. |

Getting it to go deep in singles IIRC. But than again, in general predicting performance should be based on the relationships between parameters rather than a single parameter.

thanks for the ans
I know also that an important value is the Fs,Qts ratio...mine is around 128 thats true? also is the bl param important too?how big should be for a good performance? the other ts param are: fs: 36 Hz Re: 3,71 ohm zmaz: 80,71 ohm qms: 6,25 qes 0,29 qts 0,28 vas 197,94 l sd: 1132 cm2 mms 177,5 gr le 1,55 mH cms 109,98 nano m/newton bl 22,78 tesla/m splref 98 db eta0 3,09% xmax 10,00 mm power hand 900 wrms vcoil diam 100 mm winding depth 25 mm wending material copper |

I would have said the BL was a bit low personally. 1850 and V18-1000 both have BLs over 30, so the magnet would probably lose control of the cone a lot sooner, meaning the speaker would take less power before hitting Xmax. QTS is well above the other two as well. I reckon this would be more at home in a reflex box.
Before you go nuking your brand new cones tho, I'd wait for someone else to corroborate this. |
