Hi

Wondering whats the difference in inverted speakers in some bandpass horns, is it better cooling or more?

For example es18 bph has driver inverted compared to classic turbosound bins - and different dimensions

Funktion one f218 and 215 have driver inverted between mk1 And mk2 and same (external) dimensions, is it just a matter of turning the driver on the other Side? Would it Last longer or play any different like less distortion or power compression?

It's to reduce power compression, it was done after I had had a meeting with Tony and suggested he give it a try.

I would guess that the chamber volumes would have been adjusted to compensate and possible change of baffle angle etc so driver would physically fit.

Potential you could use a spacer ring to offset the driver?
