Club Open in Shinjuku, Tokyo was a great little reggae/dub club with a couple of scoops in. Was 8 years since I went but looks like it's still going from FB

I haven't been for many years, but went several times 12-15 years ago, you will stumble across all sorts of sights. Some of my favorites were the record shop over 3 or 4 floors filled with full size Genelec monitors, like 20-30 of them. Many small bars with really high end sound systems and live music venues with unbelievable setups.
Also many small HiFi shops selling older kit from UK, old Tannoy / Leak / Quad kit etc. But defo go here: Roppongi Cheers,

On my old pc i had so many pics of some huge scoop sounds in japan but i cant remember any oo their names now

didn't really make it to so many places, but here's what i found: club open in shinjuku - really liked it here, will return some day i hope. selecta was playing some great tunes and they had a really nice rig in the corner. friendly ppl womb, tokyo. as far as i can tell, this was the fabric of toyko. really impressed with the sound in the main room. having sex massive cieling but sounded incredible somehow. l-acoustics line array i beleive. worth a look just to check this out. listening bars - not all that imo. lot of expensive speakears and kit set up poorly across the board...
