I just bought two vintage JBL speakers (sr4722 mk II) for really good price $200 / pair (I will get them friday). Should be good for smallish indoor happenings maybe?
Now I need some good but simple subwoofers for them.. I have many 15 and 18 drivers laying around, so I was thinking about making 4 x RCF loaded Cubo 15 extended versions. What do you think? Standard bassreflex is out of option, I have made too many of them. :D Edited by Tonskulus - 18 December 2017 at 6:30pm |

4x 15 should be OK.
Wire a #1156 lamp in series with the compression driver. |

That would be good idea! I'll do that. Btw, another tweeter has "fake" new cone assembly.. chinese maybe. Sounds MUCH worse than original. Anyway, really nice sounding speakers overall! Edited by Tonskulus - 24 December 2017 at 11:10am |
