I have some JBL VS125HS empty cabs.

Would these be any good as kickbins kind of like HD15?

On the shelf I have JBL 2226H and RCF L15P540 to load them with.

Here are specs:

Looks to be a very short band pass horn. Should be a good kick bin. Try it with both + as hot and - as hot to hear diff in system sound. VECTORSONICS

Im all new to kick bins what would be some classic crossover points to start with for a 4 way mono rig with:

2 Dual 18” BR subs loaded with JBL 2241H.

2 Dual 15” Kickbins JBL VS125HS loaded with 2226H.

2 Standard midtops 12” or 15” + 2”.

Its mainly the crossover between sub and kick and between kick and midtops I need help with.

Also will the 2 dual 18 balance good with the 2 dual 15” kickbins?

My plan is to lay BR 218 down. Then lay Dual 15” kickbin over that and then the midtops on top. Maybe using 4 midtops when larger coverings needed.

I used to have a pair of VS125HS.  They were loaded with 2226’s.  High sensitivity and good fast kick. Don’t expect much below 50hz.

So you're good with figuring out time alignment then? Without this the kicks will mess up everything above and below them.

What I would try,

subs 35 to 80
kicks 70-80 to 150

then let the tops play from 150hz up Smile
We need more SPL!
