The real difficulty here is your approach - you acknowledge that it's foolish to jump in at the deep end without any background and experience in the field but you seem determined to do that anyway.

That makes it hard to advise you on where to even begin your research. Think about how difficult it is to assemble an optimum (price/performance ratio, durability, features/flexibility, resale value, etc) high end desktop PC from scratch, with watercooling and all the rest, without any prior knowledge of the field.

Total minefield with about a billion ways to approach it, but you can look up a build and just copy what someone else did from the component selection through to the build process, and if you're reasonably handy it'll turn out alright.

Same deal with sound systems except much more involved on the physical side of things. A qualified carpenter isn't necessarily versed in acoustics, so the critical importance of stability of one panel in a design over another may not be clear. Obviously you should try and make all joins as tight as possible, but some plans don't have clear bracing guidelines and will benefit from bracing.

The reason why there is no one size fits all guide is because everyone's needs differ. You want primarily psytrance with the option to play the low notes of dub/reggae etc, which makes your system plan totally different from someone who would play only psytrance or only dub/reggae. If you wanted to play some psytrance and some hard techno the system plan would change again. If you were regularly going to use it for live shows or corporate gigs, again a different approach would be needed. There are optimum combinations for all these different requirements.

Exactly how to build will also vary depending on your available tools and materials, component selection, and other specific requirements you may have about portability, installation, rigging points etc. Maybe some day someone will work out the most common sets of requirements and put together a comprehensive guide or even a calculator/system build process generator that lets you put in your requirements and spits out a full tailored guide for you to be going on with. It's not inconcievable tbh, but that day is not today.

Until then you need to offer as many details as you can. Do as much of your own research as you can. Take some initiative. Google "the very specific thing I want to learn about"+"speakerplans" or "diyaudio" or even just "forum" and browse threads. Be as specific as you like, if you can concieve of the question, it's probably been covered at length, and if you start with the basics and take notes about what you don't understand as you go, then you can ask more questions, but as much as possible try and 'ask' the archive of what's already been discussed ad nauseum in the archives.

Give the project as much time as it deserves. If you're going to build a large sound system then  it's hopefully going to see many thousands of man hours of end user experience over it's life cycle, so you should give a proportionate amount of time to the R&D process.

Anyway, a scoop system is not what you need for psytrance, for a start, and most drivers are not good in scoops, neither the junk you originally chose (especially not those - no chance), nor the high end Beyma drivers I suggested.

Reflex is a good all rounder, good for both psytrance and reggae, and quite suitable for a first build, g-subs and Sub 18 as recommended both worth a look and both quite forgiving on driver selection.
