Ras John, it sounds like there is more sound system going on in the US now than in years gone by, things are growing there, surely?  I know you have to travel big distances there though, is it a coastal thing, is there much in the middle of the country?

Marcus, so glad (but not surprised) to hear things went well, I am sorry I couldn't make it, I was wiped out after our session on Friday.

I'm the brother that showed you the way to samra's.... nice site.... Just read you review.. After reading it, Its got me thinking we both was at different Dances...
What i'm reading an what i felt happend at the dance just don't match, I don't recall either sound have any technicals were a hole section was off, i heard both sound man on there mics clearly all night, an i surely wouldn't call samra's small, ive seen big sounds play in smaller venues then that..
Also i'm really confussed as you've listed it as a sound clash when it was a roots & culture unity dance...

An i personally look forward to these two sounds meeting again because i really enjoyed the night.ClapClapClap

I certainly noticed errol losing his sub for a couple of rounds before the last hour. Managed to fix up to finish. Glad to have made the journey, Samras is quite small but not tiny, a pretty good size really, look forward to more sessions in there.

I believe that was erroll at the controls not bringin in the bass on a few tunes... mainly due to the fact his hand was playin up an wasnt as speedy as he normally is going thru his tunes an what not... don't think that was down to technicals...

Were KE's folded horns dropping as deep and as loud as KW's 1850 scoops ?

No sound never had any technicals !! my mid bass NEVER went down so dont have a clue what waxhead is talking about ConfusedConfusedConfused confused.com the only time my kick wasnt kicking is when i muted it on the processor & when Errol contacted me on Monday he never mentioned any technical @ all i just think with his long throw boxes he set up in the wrong place simples so Mr Sufferer what is this technical which happened as you seem to know everything ? Even @ the end Errols boxes were shifting some serious air, isnt a technical when you break down ? pop your speakers /amps  but if your sound doesnt sound right on a night you cant call that a technical ,you just have to say bwoy i didnt sound right tonight as Errol was big enough to say the other day. I rate KE as a top top sound & a top top man & i give him maximum respect for me it was a good dance where we both were spreading Jah works so why are you so called roots man trying to dis the program ? but to my face yu a tell mi yes KW you played well LOLLOLLOLLOL tbh i'd respect a man more if he came direct to me & said i dont like you rather than smiling in my face & a stab me in the back like some little girl so fix up ! As for Waxhead you need to be accurate with your summarys otherwise you will undo all the good that youre trying to do , try to be constuctive rather than destructive as we want to encourage as many people to go out & build sound systems or lead by example with your sound so we all have a path to follow Bless

i was tryin to work out the 18" on mids thing, first time i seen them new mid/high boxes,??? i reakon it was more a positioning thing,we all know how KE boxes sound like in a big hall but i think havin them on the side of the room didnt help very short run to oppersite wall, coulnt really get far enough away from them to get the benifit, near the boxes it was like havin the back of your legs slapped with the gush of air coming from themSmilemost entertainingLOL,i didnt go in front on KW stackLOL
