Thanks for the info. Your EQ looks very similar to what I've tried on my home made waveguide with a BMS 4538. Response looks similar too. That's great news for me.

The reason I asked if both 5" drivers are run together relates to off axis response, something else I've been looking into recently. My calculations suggest that you will get -6dB at 45 degrees off axis, at around 625Hz. This is based on a guess that your drivers are 260mm centre to centre. I haven't tested this calculation yet- have you noticed this dip at all?

I was curious if that is common with this type of wave guide.

The driver centres is 251mm (good guess), I haven't noticed any significant nulls when listening; not measured off axis yet.

There is a 7db dip @ 600hz but also @ 300hz, and 220hz, put this down to the measuring environment as the continuity gets skittish at those points also.

Have a BMS 4524 I'm going to try.

I just realised I calculated that wrong, the dip would be at 1250Hz. Possibly, if I got the theory and calculation right this time!

dose look like a good candidate, really don't need that much power as the 5" drivers are only 80w each

But you can cross it lower if needed. Also headroom is always a good thing.
Running them at lower power also means less distortion Smile
