Roots Factory presents...

Bombskare
Ramon Judah and the Kromatic (Live)
Freshly Baked
Alongside Roots Factory crew Frankie Dread

Bombskare
Introducing BOMBSKARE, Scotland’s 9-man ska juggernaut- they have been tearing up stages the length and breadth of the British Isles. Reaching zero to sixty skanking miles an hour in the space of three chords, they combine top quality dance-along songs with well crafted album tunes.
We are the Fat Man and Little Boy of Scottish Ska. Bigger, better, louder, tighter, harder and faster than the competition - they leave every stage like Tokyo following a visit from Godzilla.
Equally renowned for their musicianship and recordings, we are tighter than Fort Knox, their trademark ska rhythms and lush, three-part harmonies work together with choppy guitar sounds and an explosive horn section to truly blow the audience away.

Ramon Judah and the Kromatic
Ramon Judah comes from a musical tradition, his father Sugar was a star in Liverpool and was an early mentor to the Beatles. Ramon was influenced by early soundsystem culture and was singing in the dancehall at an early age. He then travelled the world singing Reggae bands from New Zealand to Chicago USA. He has sung on many sounds over the years including Jah Youth and more recently as the the main host and vocalist for the popular Reggae Roast nights. Roots Factory
Roots Factory is an independent collective of people which aims at promoting reggae culture by organising cultural events, producing music, and performing it ot the masses.
The collective started out in Ireland and ran its first gig in october 2007 and hasn’t looked back since, from hosting tents at festivals to running sessions all over Ireland and more recently in Bristol and London, where they are now based.
They have since worked with some of the most renowned musicians on the international scene as well as featured at major festivals and various club nights around Europe and beyond.
The vibes and the quality of the sound delivered are the main focus and the message is strictly conscious.
The selection is very eclectic, ranging from 70s roots to the most futuristic UK steppers dubs.
