hi there,
looking some opinions on the new breed of led fixtures...
has anybody been using Showtec indigo 4500 /4600 , American dj vizi led spot pro.or Elation etc etc...
I recently had a look at  american dj inno wash (36x3 watt cree led) ..; seemed very bright and quiet in its operation ..
I know they may be lacking compared to some stsndard 250 fixtures but  does the light weight and low current draw make up for this ?
Is there any other beams or washes I should be looking at..

thank you for your input.

GLP spot one and impressions, robe 1200 washes in hire stock, a bit more expensive than the brands you have listed but they are out with some fairly big acts and gracing festival stages up and down the country and across Europe. I have looked at the lower end of the market but as they are not rider friendly it's not an avenue we shall be exploring.... Yet. Keeping a close eye on Chauvet as a brand, expecting to see them emerge as a market leader in the next few years

Chauvet do their own version of the indigo 4500. Saw a couple used over the summer although we think one suffered an led source failure. Otherwise they were quite impressive. Even more impressive for the money were some Stairville units X25 or something, sell for about £200 and very good output for the size and. Ice and smooth movement and bright optics.
