simpler/cheaper to build, with slightly larger chamber/throat.

The height, and width are same as superscooper. But 40mm deeper.

Looking good & details sounds good!

Dont know. Never seen the inside of an RX18.

But it does have larger chamber than RX18/Scooper, and shorter rear board.
And completely different scoop than those two also.

It is is based on JBL/Fane  design internally, but with larger chamber, and  Superscooper exterior, so I guess it has many fathers..   LOL

Lev, what exactly are you taking as rear chamber/throiat measurements...looks tricky to me. To my eyes it looks like there is some compression right up to the corner where the first horn section starts to go up behind the chamber, this would make for a very large chamber, but not such a llarge throat, and a shorter horn of course.  Might not work like that in practice as there is some expansion from the end of rear baffle board through the first bend, but then a little compression after?
Looking like a good all rounder though.. ideal roots sound box, should play good in medium-small venues and be flexicle on driver choice. Might not sound too tight in a big stack..

This is exactly what its for. The cab will definetly perform with the drivers I need it to (PD1850/Bline 800,V18-1000).

I just added in flexibility for future upgrades {V18-1200/Turbomax} Thumbs%20Up

I wouldnt be using scoops for any venue requiring more than 2x stacks of 6.

Not really looking for tight sound, but rear chamber is not too big for tight driver like V18-1000.

Design updated for easier construction/bracing, and front almost identical to Super.

No problem boss. I'll build them as soon as I learn how to spell router, and what it is, and how to build cabs.

And which end to hold a chisel.
