I'm after a lighting rig , i have no idea about lights or cost. I'm after second hand quality not brand new crap I've tried the likes of maplins stuff and not impressed . i do pub/small club partys and the odd bit of mobile disco kind of stuff.
I'm looking at 2 or 4 units to start which id like to be able to link to work together .
I'm after that single beam scanner type look rather then lots of shapes and colours being thrown round the room at once. not sure if led is what I'm looking for ?
any advice would be great

Get youself a set of Acme Dynamo.
Nice old school scanners, learn how to link them up as master-slave, hook up 4 units and off you go.

Works good finding them on fleabay, second hand ones come and go, bargains to be had.

If your still looking for some scanners, I've got

4 EVL 250watt Proscans, all in great condition and in individual stucco flightcases, all come with power cables and dmx cables, and a EVL micro controller ( really simple controller 4 buttons - controls all the functions of the lights)
These are the 250 watt discharge versions

I've got 4x Sniper 5R lights, almost new (3 events) in cased pairs.
£750 the lot as need to make some space for some moving heads this winter.

Hi mate, I have tonnes of old Abstract lighting, about 12 units and a DMX controller that im willing to shift for £200 as about 35% of it is spares repairs.
As far as I remember we have 6 scanners , 4 moonflowers I think they are called, and then 2 barrel rollers.
I have pics if your interested, cheers.
