a true mid horn benefits from a driver with as strong of a motor as possible. look out for B&C 12FW76, Oberton 12NMB600 etc (low qes)
but be aware that these drivers do nothing below the horn cutoff, no way of getting a few extra Hz with EQ as it would be possible with an "allround" driver in a large throat horn.

Well... Thinking about what to do. I need a mid/high cab to get down to about 150hz. 180 might be okay.
Bins underneath will not be HD15 and Gsubs after all.
Instead it ended up to be some ported W bins.

So here is my thoughts..

Limmer 308+312 (1,5"+2x12")
Limmer 308+085 (1,5"+12"+15")
Limmer 308+15" in BR.
Limmer 308+15" horn loadet. TMS2-style.

Or Maybe go with a Limmer 042?
Limmer 042+085 = Limmer P3 (1"+6"+15")
Limmer 042+15" in BR = Limmer P2
Limmer 042+15" horn loadet. TMS2-style.

Enclosure cant be more than 50cm wide, and there will be used one mid/hi cab ontop of two Wbins.
For more power in the mid/hi section and better coverage, two cabs can be used ontop of three W bins.

Primarely usage will be EDM but live music can happen also.

Last, but not least i could also choose to go with RCF H6000 8" midrange  horn and do some RCF 4Pro 6001 clones or some TMS2-style cabs with that.

Any thoughts and ideas?

take the 15's out of the w-bins a build a reflex 215 to meet the Limmer 308.

seems to work rather well for these chaps;

That vid did sound nice well chosen track me thinks. Would like to hear some nasty rock music see what happens then. Also if he needs 6x 215's to keep up with 2 horns maybe he needs better subs. ?

proper idm ratio would actually be more like two more subs to keep up with those horns. decently powered 12 inch mid horns are insanely efficient on axis, in band. like 110db +
