Hi All,
I'm a pro stage performer.. I use an old hybrid analogue/digital mixer to run our 6-piece band's live sound. Even though the mixer (an old Edirol/Roland M-16DX) is only a consumer-level unit (perhaps a pro-sumer unit maybe - it's certainly not a pro audio unit), its features are fantastic for our purpose atm.. (which is lots of venues who mandate that we plug into their in-house sound system, but then give us no headroom, so my desk is driven to maximum on the output fader and channel faders just to get a barely audible signal. Converting from its current -10dBV signal output, to a pro level +4dBu signal output would solve everything). Anyway, the one massive drawback for me with this mixing desk is that it only puts out a consumer-grade line level signal of -10dBv. I can easily bump it up to a pro level output of +4dBu by using something like this - an Ebtech Line Level Shifter LLS-2, as seen here: (https://www.morleyproducts.com/line-level-shifters/) I just can't afford the Ebtech one though, and to be honest, it's a bit bulky in my already crammed amp rack roadcase. Does anyone know of other options, possibly smaller in size but still with premium transformers in it? I've Googled, but not found anything suitable for pro audio stage use. Prefer it to be passive (no power supply) and stereo, as I have left and right main out signals from the desk to boost. Thank you, knowledgeable pro audio guys. Stu

I'm pretty sure I've got an alice (highly regarded manufacturer of broadcast equipment) -10 to +4 bidirectional converter. It's about the size of a house brick.
I'm away for about 10 days but if you're interested drop me a pm
