   Yes. You've got kids of 8, 9 or 10 carrying knives out of fear because everyone else around them are carrying as well. It is a plague. They'll soon be driving SUV's into crowds around their schools!!   

A couple of years ago, on a visit to London, I walked a (female) friend around the corner to a shop to buy as few things. We passed a small group of kids on the way, maybe 10 or 11 year olds. I didn't really pay any attention to them. My friend did - & had a bit of a laugh as she heard them say something about "having a go" at us! She laughed because she knows what I'm capable of doing if provoked - or "attacked".
