Hi all,
I have a pair of ancient speakers that I would like to put to good use. They are RCF L15P/06C. I haven't found much info about them online, just a few posts. They seem to be well liked, and one post suggested that they would work well in a "Staiper Microscoop". These speakers have a exteremely low Qts making them difficult to use in a "normal" sealed or ported cab, so I am open to other suggestions on what to do with them.

I am not new to acoustic design, however I don't really have any horn experience. Is there someone experienced with Hornresp that can run a simulation of this driver in a Microscoop? Below is the cabinet design and a link to my measured T/S parameters.

Thank you.

I am also open to suggestions, if there is something more suited to use with these drivers, like a BFM Tuba 30 or somehing like that.

There is no 15" Tuba. Might fit a Titan48.

Tuba 60 can be made for a Lab15 apparently. Its the "small" (LOL) version, as opposed to the full version with dual lab 12s.

Try putting the model number of the drivers in your thread title, you just may catch some ones attention

This is a model of it i once did quite some time ago. Modeled as a tapped horn with the taper at the center of the panel where the speaker attaches. Think its pretty accurate though. Put in your own parameters to run the simulation.

Best regards,
Teun.

Thanks, I'll have a look at this later today!

Parameters were linked in my first post. Here they are again:

Xmax is unknown, estimate between 4-5mm.

How do I get "Fr" and "Tal" to show up for a Tapped horn? Once I set the driver arrangement to Tapped Horn, these values change to "Ap" and "Lpt".

I also found this thread with some different values for this cab, which I'll try out as well once I can figure out this Hornresp program, just for comparison sake.
