Hi everybody! Smile

I have a little absurd question but I need a more profesional opinion..in this moment I'm building 2x1850's (for the moment... in the future will be 8 or more..) with the void v18, and in the future i want to take some good amp like crown xli3500 or infinite8.. or why not a labgruppen 10.000! LOL ,,
the dreams are free,, But for the moment my budget is limited and I only can buy some lowcost amp for the nexts parties and with time,, go for some other better amps.

Then, I look many times the T.amp TSA 4-1300, I have other thomann amps and run cool.. I read many forums, posts, reviews, etc.. I found a lot of info about, but finaly I need a more especific and serious opinion,,
Will run nice the T.amp 4-1300 with 4x1850's void loaded???
It's realy necesary a high quality amp & expensive for a non profesional soundsistem begining?
I will valorate any proposals and other ideas!

Thanks!

4 channel amps in general are designed to run mid or monitors
a few big brand 10k 4 channels can do bass but in general its not a good choice

Prob look at Proline 3000.

Youll be able to run 4 of it no problem

You get the same Thomann support and down the line buying another to go up to running 8 is simple

If you have a bit more money then look at the newer 2 channel amps from SAE that some of the forum members sell (They are £650 ish for the 2 channel youd need)

Yep,, look's too nice for be real. :')
I discarted the tsa 4-1300 and I'm looking the Proline3000 also many times but I can't use them with 4 subs! It's only for 2.. and if I need to take 4 of this is a lot of weight and money.. for this price I can look maybe better for other amps like crown xli 3500 or the Xls 2500 (digital) also a crest cpx2600 could be a nice choice! better then PROLINE3000?
What u think about american dj amps? are realy bad amps or have a good products? because a friend have some amps and sounds good..I found the American dj XLT2000, anyone know if this amps runs well and if it's analog?

i recon the proline 3000 would probably walk over the other options you just listed tbh, its not quite enough to give four v18s a proper full on pasting but its not that short on power tbh id happily use a proline 3k to run 2 v18 per side tbh if thats not enough juice id be more looking into more bins rather than more power per bin tbh

i would go with the proline if you can afford it dont bother with the rest or you could see if you can find second hand decent amp plenty of them out there on 4 ohm bridge would easily power them Smile

tbh the proline 3000 has actualy been benched at around 1800w per  channel into 4ohm [i think i might be wrong here but im fairly certain im correct] , now im not saying this is enough to give them a proper run, but what i am saying is that me personaly would only want about say 20/25% more power in my ideal world, for the moment [remember that 20/25% more power is only going to be 1decibel] under powering only does damage to drivers when the amp is being thrashed, the proline should actualy be ok to run 4 v18 like i said if you desperately need that extra 1db id rather gain it by using 6 bins instead of 4 rather than by putting the extra 20% power in

PROLINE3000: estéreo, 8 Ω: 2 × 1100 W estéreo, 4 Ω: 2 × 1500 W estéreo, 2 Ω: 2 × 1800 W puenteado, 8 Ω: 3000 W puenteado, 4 Ω: 3600 W paralelo, 2 Ω: 3000 W

It's not enough for conect 2 bins per side.. maybe 3? it's posible to conect 3 bins with 1 proline? what is the Ohms resultant if the void's are at 8ohms...?
