   just make sure the amp never! clips..
First of all you should take care of your gain structure, this should already keep the Amp from clipping, aditionally you can set the limiter just before potential clipping.

Just disconnect the speakers, play with real input levels and adjust accordingly.

The drivers should take all the Amp has got to give :)
