Hi, Can anyone recommend a good free RTA spectrum analyzer software for Mac OSX. I'm seeing Audiotools come up on the search here, but can't see it in the App store. Think it's no longer availbale in the UK. I have a Behringer ECM8000. Cheers!

AudioTools is an iOS app, so it won’t show up on macOS. It might work via Catalyst but it probably won’t be a great experience. The useful bits aren’t free, anyway.
Your best free option is REW. It isn’t real-time, but for most use cases it doesn’t need to be. Time alignment is a slightly obtuse workflow but perfectly possible. You just have to learn how to actually process the data and take good measurements. The REW manual is very good - read it. It’s a one man project though, and definitely has bugs and quirks. |
