once I get round to rewiring the cabinets, the upper most 12" will be running from 50hz up to meet the 2", where the two lower 12" will be running 50hz-110hz.  kind of a 2.5 way system.  the 3 12" units will sum between 50-110hz.

I somehow knew you was going to say that!
Nice design those triple 12's in the fact that each driver has it's own chamber, there was a pair for sale on here a couple of week's ago and I thought of doing the same thing with the bass/mid and then adding a horn (not quite as large though) on top for a 3 way semi portable system.

You're making me wish I didn't sell my JBL kit, would have complemented that lot beautifully.

Why's it called Main Screen?

I will from now on.:)  what game is that?

@sam

'Main Screen' is just because of the source where I got hold of the large horns- a film company who had them as part of their main screen set up.  they upgraded to slightly newer horns than you were selling a while ago.  I just thought it sounded nice and original.

I do intend on marketing the system to independent and small film makers for impromptu screenings, as well as moving picture art requiring good quality audio playback (in stereo for now).  I do intend on getting  a third horn one day, to go above a single 2206 to form a centre channel.   its more of a hobby for me to make use of my babies until i have space to have a pair of these running in the home environment.  as a hobby, i want it to be fun, and squabbling over a little bit of money to play slave to the idiot dance music promoters of bristol is less appealing to me than offering services to creatives and film makers who are usually sober when you are dealing with them.
REFLEX ALL THE WAY.... (however, im playing with horns again...) That ok Mister Valiant? :)

I'm intending on making upgrades to this system ready for next summer.  Please can i have some suggestions on possible additions in the bass dept?  ideally I want something that will run sub with just 2 boxes.  either to be placed under each stack, or to be put central between the existing stacks.

i thought a pair of dual pd186/ jbl 2242  loaded reflex cabs maybe?  any other suggestions?  id imagine what ever I use the existing triple 12" cabs will be playing down to 50hz.  and the 'subs' will be playing up to 80hz, so i will apply some time alignment as required..

cheers!
