I'm already using EMO, Kelsey & Van Damme 19" mains dist. panels and am aware of Canford's product range too. These products are all useful in their own way but I'm looking for something that combines mains i/p and distribution plus signal I/P (Left & Right) and Speakon O/P (Left and Right) for a 2 way system e.g. 2 amps + LMS.
What do people think about a 2U rack panel with cutouts for a mains input e.g. Neutrik Powercon True on the left side with a box section behind half the width of the panel. This box would have say, 4 cutouts for Powercon True Female o/p sockets on the rear face. All mains wiring to be contained within this box.
Overall depth around 85/90 mm.
On the rhs of the panel 2 cutouts for Neutrik I/P xlr sockets L & R plus 2 cutouts for Neutrik Speakon O/P sockets L & R.

I've asked AllMetalparts to consider this suggestion.

How about the electrical safety aspects of this?
Should it have an isolator switch/MCB by default?
I guess a mains neon indicator would be useful.

Not wanting to recreate a Kelsey or VDC panel, something good quality but a lot cheaper.

Comments welcome.

If anyone on here would like to quote for such a panel, msg me please.
