Dave--Are you sure that they are copies as the CX range of cabinets were made by quite a few different UK cabinet makers and I have seen a lot in the past that were genuine but quite poorly made cabinets----If its any help to you, I have a brand new pair of empty un-used CX cabinets up for grabs---cheers--John.

2 are fairly shonky. the ply is 5ply with mdf baffle.

the other pair is better, but some panels are badly cut, etc. and none have top hats.

how much?

Will take £70 for the pair Dave---They were made by Ohm so you can imagine the build quality is superb and they are complete with hardware inc grilles but the grilles are not like the original Martin design and the cabinets are finished in Turbo blue from the factory and the grilles have Opus badges on the front so they are a bit of a strange one really---genuine birch ply though--cheers.

Can you give me any information on Martin Audio CX2 speakers?
I have two of them sitting on the garage for the past 5 years.
Never listened them, they were from my father´s old company, and I assumed they were rubbish, but maybe I´m wrong. 
What do I need to know about them?

otherwise check the martin audio website, they have pdf's in the vintage/discontinued section of the products section

I went to Martin website, they have a technical brochure. 
Yes I have the EX controller. I will not sell them because it´s my father´s and his partner.
However I can use them for my pleasure :)
Are they any good?

we got a set of CT2s with MX2 controller and a set of CTW (wedge), also with MX2 controller, on sale starting Monday (tomorrow), both in good shape.
