...see comparison of different drivers for the 215 MKIII, bloody similar for the F2B.

Note:
PD drivers doesn't fit into a nonmodified F2B!!!
PD154 would be the best choice, in this case you would have to increase the depth of the rear chamber to make the driver fit.
Only RCF L15-554K/L15P200AK and JBL 2226H fit in without modification.

No mate, I just hired one and measured it...

BTW, there is nothing about 6" shorter length.

Well it's the same depth, so physically it should go in.

That doesn't sound right to me! One or two dB maybe, but 12dB???
I've got the F2B's that Robbo mentioned earlier, (the copies with a bigger rear chamber), they're currently loaded with an EV driver and they're stupidly sensitive. There's hardly any noticable difference to the ATC's as I've tried them side by side, so 12dB on that would be defying the laws of physics.
And no, I'm not going to make a Star Trek joke about you 'can'ne change the laws of physics, Jim'. That would be highly illogical.

+12db would mean 4 times the cone displacement. so if the ATC has xmax around 3mm, this could be true...
