I need to get some wedge monitors to use one as a MC/Vocal monitor and the other as a DJ monitor. My and I have mate uses F15's and I have always been pretty impresses by the sound on them . These would be my ideal choice the only problem is the price. Do the XM15's fair well against the F15's, i can just abou afford to build two but is it worth me speanding te extra money to get a pair of martin's.

Dont forget the cost of building, hardware, exterior finish, grille.
Results from X15 are said to be quite decent. Id expect the F15 to be on par,or slightly better due to better meausurement/modeling abilities by a large company like that. Huge audible difference? Youd have to try and see. Try and listen to some ones X15! |
