matching drivers to power amp

   Im building a setup with two midtops and two subs:
midtops two way with 400W and 100W drivers
subs with 800W drivers

I'm intending to use a 4-channel power amp, 4 x 800W RMS into 8ohm

I know the power amp will handle the midtops but is it enough for the subs?

	One common way of doing this is to bridge 2 of the 4 channels for the bass-end (in mono) and the mid-tops in stereo off the other 2 channels. Can the amp you have do that? And/or do the 2 subs in bridge, ie handle the 2 subs in parallel? Some amps may not like anything below 8 ohm in bridge.
