Was out doing a system test when the generator started struggling then the voltage dropped off completely. We stablised the geneartor and the crest amp fired back in to life but the Mcgregor just couldn't see a signal from the mixer.

Haven't got the model number at the moment as it is round my friends.

is this a problem with older amps running from Gennies?

The gennie is a lister diesel 4 kva

Would a surge protect have any efffect if the voltage just dropped off?

Cheers for any comments / feedback :-)
