ok this is my thoughts...

So i got my double reflex 15" Jamo made bins that need new drivers...

got a 3 way system with some active peaveys doing my mid around 500watts.
they hold up, but not enough bass b4 from the old 700w cabs

was looking at these as replacement drivers??

Eminence kilomax 15 (mabye bit too big!??)
Eminence Kappa 15

the pricey route???

PD 156
or
PDN.15SB4 (magnet looks small doh?? or are these perfect?)

want these cabs to be able to handle all my bass needs at the moment inc. some good dub sub but eventually act as kick bins in a bigger system with some 18' scoops maybe (love those bull-x  mykey.. (in future).
kinda don't mind shelling out if its worth it sound/power wise..

Replys well appreciated!Star

other info if it helps

bins are about 600mm in depth and width not sure of litre size??

probably gonna power em with two mono bridged amps, as i gave the amcron bakCry

budget for amp and 4xdrivers bout £800max ish?

if you are going to stick with the jamo cabs get a rough idea of volume (W-18mm x H-18mm x D-18mm) and measure the ports. you can then put this into winisd and simulate response with various drivers, not perfect but better than guessing in the dark. oh and kilomax are apparently rubbish- won't take their rated power.

If you're willing to spend £95 on new Eminence Kappa Pros why not look for some used PD 1550's. Someone was selling some for £100 each not too long back.

Either Kappa LF  or Kappalite 3015LF will offer probably the best bang for your money.Check the cab suitability first of course.

I put in Kappa's not LF but they sound alrite as subs, fart a bit when i tryed to use em as kik bins not a good idea, does that mean the box is too big?? cool for the moment doh was thinking of building USB's or HD's butwhaaatis the difference? will them drivers hold out or should i try and swap them for LF's??

If anyone wants 4 burnt out Jamo drivers for FREE (bout 350watts) PM me with details i'm based in north London, don't wanna chuck em recycle anyone.

++++Wots the easiest way to work out litre size with the minimal amount of mathmatics??

measure height, width, depth in millimetres- multiply- divide by a million. voila!
