I have a couple newb questions about my small system.

I have 2 Carvin 1584 pa's and a dual 18 BR box (2xEminence Kappa pro 18lf8...build in process). I have a Behringer EP2500 powering the Carvins and that's all I have for the system at the moment.

My questions are:

1) Is there anything wrong with crossing using a mixer to cross 2 channels if I have non dsp amps and no dedicated crossover?

2) Are there any mixers that are budget friendly that have time delay capabilities?

3) Is there anything else I need for this system that I'm totally missing here?

4) Full dsp amp recommendations for the sub box please.

Thanks, Tuck

A brand new dcx is £180. Can pick them up around 100 to 120 second hand.

Get one and you can  sort all your crossovers and delays and eq just buy a cheap second hand amp for sub

Either that or the go to cheap amp with dsp would be the nx6000dsp, but it's not as flexible as a full stand alone dsp
