Hey,
Im looking for a all in one car head unit with CD player/ radio/ aux in and ideally just two amp channels. Its gonna run in my truck and only be powered by solar so i'd like to get one with the lowest possible idle current draw. No luck in finding specs for that unforunatly as the whole car audio industry seems to be aimed at seeing who can use the most power Anyone got any favorites or reccomendations? Many thanks. Alf |

You can get headunits without built in amps, and then run an efficient amp separately?
But if you do want it all in one choose one with a low power amp. That said Pioneer and Alpine seem to use ICE chips which are usually class D or T. |

Build a carputer. They typically run at about 10-15W power consumption, and built in whatever class D amp you prefer.
