18 you could do.....20 is a strange number.
4x banks of 5?it would raise the impedence but better it go up then come down to low.

lol.... go with steves idea as iv only ver built them in small banks

If it sounds like a gorilla is trying to escape, turn it down.

yhis thing again!!! a PZT a substrate sandwich  a purely capacitive load of around 0.5uf for a start

really require a special network to operate well the capacitive load causes premature slew rate limiting in amplifiers. the "Harsh" sound if you use with a 12dB oct hi-pass 5khz the feed via a auto TX this decouples it from the amp reducing the effect of the capacitive load they then sound a whole lot nicer and are capable of producing a 10khz square wave easily. what does this tell you? ...Transient response is through the roof.. they are 20Volt devices not 30volt KSN1005 have a lower rating compared to the larger 1025 or powerline types  we found padding the output from the network to the PZT worked best at around 3 ohms

so what your saying is if used correctly for ultra hi frequencies and filtered correctly they can sound very good? just a case of if your gonna use a tool use it properly for what its designed for yeah?
if so id agree not a piezo fan but i recon they can be god for certain aps just not the aps they usualy get used for
edited due to mixing up a h and an a :P

yes like many things qreatly misused and misunderstood used correctly they are the fastest hf on the planet make even electrostatics seem slow. 5-10khz on up they are very good we had TX's that reduced the voltage across them a bit as they are very efficient they need tamping down a bit to bring in to a relative level of less efficient electromagnetic transducers
