MT102 question

   i was pondering the plans for the MT102 
i have some boxes that are not far away from internals of the MT102 and would like to fit some Eminence Kappa Pro 10" to them 
when i check on the eminence site it says the driver still works in a sealed box that matches my boxes dimensions,
 but mines 200 mm wider than rodgers original plans for the internals of the MT102 
will this make that much difference to the sound of them ? 
would it be best just to reduce the volume to rodgers original plan ?
