Right got the boxes built. Some pics to follow.

Im going to be using the P Audio SN12B, a JBL 2445J on a JBL 2380A flare, and a couple of Fane 5022 Slot tweeters. ive got the passive crossovers for the Fane slots, but need to find the best crossover frequency for the JBL 2445's Its going to be passive as i dont really want to spend on more amps. Its a compromise i know. I was thinking about 1.6k would be best. Have you guys any suggestions about this before i dive in?

Also the 2445 is a 16ohm driver, most passive crossovers are 8ohm, will this affect things that much, and if i did use a 1.6k filter, what would the crossover frequency actually be considering that there will be a mismatch with ohmage

Thanks in advance

Ya know ive been thinking about it all day. The cost of the passive crossovers for decent ones anyway, i could get an amp to power all the tops, (2445 and fane slots) as i have a Behringer CX3400 3-Way Stereo/4-Way Mono xover. im already using. Not sure on the quality or power of the amp i need but saw these on the net which are quite cheap. Would it be good enough?

Re crossovers, you might find your answer on this thread.

serious mate.....
Just had the Warrior 1200 (that i have on extended loan from Inverted System), go bust :(
......for the same price point, i much prefered my Carlsbro Powerline2000. only 1000watt (4ohm) stereo, as opposed to the Warriors 1200w. The Carlsbro was 25kg(ish), but sounded stunning on top end....(not a massive amount of ooomph for bass, but it was okay when needs be.....)
£200 to aint bad......

Had a look at the carsbro amps the other day too

Just nipped in my local music shop today. Saw a Peavey DPC 750 1U amp, which runs @ 375w per channel @ 4ohms. Anybody have any experience with these for top end?
