GEB, you'd be surprised how nice you can get a Piezo to sound. Still haven't had an answer yet

Mykey i have had these piezo's since 1981 none of them has ever blown. i am not sure at what point they xover because back in them day's soundmen like myself did not think about that kind of thing what we did was to put a resistor on the live termenal & that would be it.. the top end of my system sounds very clean. my pre-amp & xover do the crossing over... le me tell you from the start this is what i use 1.. 3-way pre-amp with built-in pra-eq which i had made in 1979 from winston(TROG)
2.. 3x eq's (1 on the tops) (1 on the mid's) (1 on the bass) 3.. 3x studiomaster 800 power-amps 4.. 4x 15" scoop bins 5.. 2x twin 12" high mid's - 2x twin 12" low mid's (4 mid cabs in total) 6.. 4x mini hh horns 7.. 2x 24 piezo cab's 8.. 1x hh slide echo 9.. 1x hh digital echo 10.. 1x powertran digital echo 11.. 1x njd siren 12.. 1x Garrad 4hf turntable would just like to say i dont play out any more & i dont play cd's i only play my system at home once every 3 or 4 month's i play only vynals & dub plate's.... so for my front room set this is more than ok for me.... (is that ok for you).....
