If you click on the thumbnails posted on page 1 to go to the Photobucket site, then right-click on the "Please update your account" image and select "Open image in new tab", you get the real photo.

Hi Shortrope, I have been meaning to thank you for sharing with us this gorgeous lil project you have put together. A1 Simply stunning mate. Quality components, as well as your craftsmanship, awesome stuff. Hope you have been enjoying the fruits of your fine work… Couple questions if I may …. Did you use the Seos 24” horn on your 4594’s .. Any comments ? What are your crossover points using that horn? I currently have the bms 4594 HE units married to the 18 sound jobies , off top of my head I forget the no’s… not great dispersion .. still sounds amazing . I also have the rcf 950 horns .. Think they might suit my application better but I am still very curious about the horns you use on your 4594’s. What Sae PCM amp do you use on them, sound ok ? Sorry about so many questions . Love your work mate . Thumbs up from down unda. Kind regards Dave

By 18 sound jobbies, do you mean XT1464? In my opinion these have excellente dispersion and lobing qualities.

Yes, that's correct I have the 18 Sound XT 1464 horns. I find they have an extremely narrow dispersion. I probably should have stated that i only have a pair of the XT 1464 one for left and one for right speaker stack. One a side I feel just doesn’t fill the space adequately. Might be fine if you are doing gigs in long narrow clubs or bars. Outside its quite noticeable how narrow and direct the sound gets dispersed. They do sound lovely, stunning tbh  no complains there with the bms 4594 HE’s mounted on... Perhaps i had expectations of a wider coverage but in fact they do their job as spec'd and intended and I probably just need a pair a side to adequately cover for an outdoor event. I did recently purchase some RCF 950 horns which i think will give a wider dispersion and cover quite sizable area compared to the 18 Sounds.. Not to many widely available horns to choose from if you have a 1.4 co axal and wish to have a lower  xover freq... Back on topic ..I am curious to hear Shortrope's opinions on his findings with the horns he has used on his very sexy rig he has built.
Kind regards Dave

Please stop using Photobucket in 2017.

Imgur is a much better alternative, or you can use the forum's own system.
