yeah almost finished... fits on a trailer, backs of speakers open and mid-top speakers and battery can be loaded for transportation. with mid-tops out (can fix them on small speaker poles) and battery in can play when mobile :)

got beyma 12br70 for sub
eminence basslite s2010 for kick
beyma 605nd on mids
and beyma cp22 on tops.

powered by 2x sure electronics 2x100w (but doing approx 40w on 12v 8ohm)
and one sure 4x100watts

on a full battery, running reasonably loud takes around 4A.

soundcraft compact4 for mixing, lovely on 12v dc. and plans to solder small mixer circuit for mobile use.

when i have amp case finished will make some more measuring  with ammeter.

testing soon on critical mass ride if weather is good.

Bet it sounds killer, looks good too.
I am sure you know that  24v you will get more from those amps.
I am looking at lithium options right now to lighten my rig.

Yeah 24-30V is what that needs - especially if driving 8R loads ....

no, did not get to critical mass at the end. my order from blue aran with speaker grill clamps and speaker poles and cabinet feet got  a bit delayed.
anyway it arrived today and i managed to fix it all together.

still waiting for minidsp unit to come from hong kong.
and amp rack to be rebuilt (with a option of running amps 24v, need to sort out 12v voltage stabiliser for mindisp.
and 12/24v distro to be done
and some varnishing to do (my woodworking skills are much less than perfect, but i prefer to stay away from black paint)

and big outing is saturday next week... there is a 12v system link up down in greater london :)

I just took a look at the minidsp i got here. It says 5v - 24v on the power input.

I don't know if that's absolute min and max values. So perhaps two 12v battiers in series will be too much.
One point twenty-one jiggawatts PMPO!

There's a 12v gathering? Where? It's good thing you didn't go to CM, might have had your head smashed in by mounted police. They were a bit batton happy.
