Decade ago, everyone thought you need waldrobe, built using 24mm ply, to properly play 21"/24" drivers.

Actually, not so.

Also heard them with the 21" SW115 and sounded ALOT better and was producing some very nice smooth low frequencies. Havnt heard the latest PD24 yet in a scoop.

I will probably get shot down for this..

..but when I heard Volcano at Notting Hill I was really impressed with the bass pressure when I first arrived and heard a track they I knew.

The problem was they then played a completely different track that I also knew, and the bassline sounded exactly the same.

Talk about one note bass.

Lean Business has the 21" for £525, Give them a shout, I'm sure they'll give you a price.

Hopefully at trade the 24 wont be too too far off of the 21 list price. I know the PD24 is REAL expensive but celestions have always been a good price. I remember being able to get the CF18VJDs brand new at £250.

These are the original ones Bee did for volcano, I can't find the thread with the finished speakers. But when I heard them at carnival they were sounding nice. The 3rd floor windows on the opposite side of the street were flexing to the bass
