no its in a very well known scoop... why not sim them both yourself and see.... like I said in a post on page one neither drivers are suited to a scoop.... All so simmed em in akabak, the results were worse...

Sorry I didn't mean to come across funny in that last comment, I appreciate your trying to help.
However I think you should hear something for yourself before making comments Keep up the good works Bee

maybe I have maybe I was trying to help.... and save you many an hour coming to the same conclusion.... recone's are not that expensive after your first gig with em....
Like I said its not a scoop driver, ok in a horn like an 1850, sbh, etc but not even an ok budget scoop driver....

Ok, please explain why these are equally as good if not better than the last v18 loaded shortman scoops I heard?

Just wondering these are not so far off from the TS parameteres of the classic pd 1850 , what makes the difference? I mean which parameter or something else make this driver not suitable for a scoop ?

So it turns out 1850 and V-1000 are the only scoop drivers. Now how come 1850 is good both in scoops and FLH? You got me confused here Bee.
BTW drivers sensitivity is most often taken as an average 50-500hz sensitivity. And very rarely has anything to do how it will perform in a subwoofer box. Someone that was very adamand for years about nothing can work as 1850 in a scoop, have recently claimed that Oberton 1500 can outperform 1850.
