odc04r I didn't follow your advice as I was offered a 1/2" inch router at half price, very nice bit of kit. It actually includes a jig piece so I will see how that works. 

I plan on making boxes for my tweeter horns first as they are the simplest design, will post progress when I make some!

No worries! Whatever gets the job done. I'll end up with a 1/2" in the collection at some point but not needed it yet.
