   OXFORD DUB CLUB is a celebration of local reggae/dub sound systems at a venue rich in reggae Oxford history.  We aim to combine enthusiasm with experience to bring forward a platform for some of the newer sounds in the region and bring in some special guests.  The two host sounds of the Oxford Dub Club meet each other for the first time at this first session.  After this, one of them will be playing a guest sound or guest selector each time.  

 FIELD FREQUENCY SOUND SYSTEM featuring Spanners & Dan-I has been running for 10 years, playing their heavyweight sound at numerous venues in Oxford, Reading, Bristol, Birmingham and the West Midlands and beyond.  Dan-I also runs The Dub magazine and is the current host of the weekly Desta*Nation radio show.  

 TRUTH AND RIGHTS SOUND SYSTEM featuring Operator Daz is a new build sound, recently powering Daddy G and Count Skylarkin's Reggae Got Soul night at the Bullingdon as well as other local appearances.  Daz has some special guest DJs lined up to join him in this, his first meeting with another sound system.

 EAST COMMUNITY CENTRE was home to reggae sessions for decades, with names like Addis Ababa, Cornerstone, Desta*Nation, Natty HiFi, Dan-I & Field Frequency, Roots Lounge crew, Jason Hughes/Do The Ska, Shumba Youth and more all running regular dances in either the bar, the hall or the courtyard.
