This almost sounds like a stupid question but I'll ask..
I'm building some 21" Supers and had my eyes on the 18sound 21LW1400 but looks like I can get the PAudio for a little more. Has anyone used the SD21 2000n? Would you take the PAudio over the 18Sound? All help / comments are appreciated. Note: right now I'm only using PL380s to push my subs...

Id go for the 18sound. It has an outstanding motor force to cone weight ratio, apart from the IPAL chassis the strongest on the market imo.

SD21-1800EL is actually a pretty good driver, also incredibly heavy!
I replaced the PD2150's in some Opus HB121's with them about 5 years ago and as far as I know they're still going strong and being hammered regularly. The 21LW1400 is only a 4" voice coil which is potentially a bit on the small side. 18Sound do some monster neo 21" drivers but the price isn't going to be cheap.

I haven't tried the SD21-2000N but I have tried the SD21-1800EL ferrite which is why I thought I'd mention it if you were considering P-Audio 21" drivers.
Specs look fairly reasonable on the 2000N but you'd either need to simulate it or just try one to really find out. It's definitely a more impressive driver than the LW1400 but I suspect the 18Sound will need less power, having a lighter cone etc.

After having another look, the P-Audio seems to be a great chassis aswell. Very similar TSP really.

per unit? that is pure fraud. 400$ max for the 18sound. Write me a PN for a 18sound dealer in the US.

that P-audio price looks high too - in Europe that driver's advertised for ~£600 and substantially less for trade
