I guess the sticker on them is what makes them British cones.

There was a well known builder supposedly testing these, would have to trawl through FaceAche posts to find out if they actually did it

This is not an 1850 Copy, and may not work in all the tight Scoops, the 1850 did.

Doesn't mean it's not a good driver, and won't work well in the right cab.

High FS, and low Vas have me concerned.

Also, I'm very sceptical about that high BL/Power rating, if magnet is not as heavy as small moon.

No point get excited about 1850s or clones these days, as there are at least 4-5x drivers that will outplay it, in right cab.

Not KM cone?

For what i read not bad at all good reports , for what drivers tha are. not comparing to other driver nonsense...

Yes sceptical BL , VAS, , Fs, POWER, XMAX , BUT cant knock them to you test them YOURSELF...

Just thinking whether worth getting these brand new or get used the old beast 1850.. for same price

There has got to be someone on here who has tried one of them---but getting them to admit to it is probably not going to happen.

I wasn't knocking them mate, but you get to a point, after testing different drivers in diff cabs for years, and comparing parms/simming with tests, you look at Speaker stats, and instantly know it's potential.

Just to add,

The real serious people won't trust any published specs, they will buy 20x drivers, made to customT/S, or measure T/S in driver, before mass buying.
