I do have the apparent RRP's of some of the Peavey range from 2001 here.
As follows:
PV260 £279
PV500 £429
PV1200 £499
PV2000 £679

CS200x £389
CS400x £569
CS800x £649
CS1000x £799
Pricey by todays standards but they were certainly solid enough.
Cheers, Chris.

there's been a few different generations of the CS range, they first came out around 1980, the facelift version around 1986 and then again in the 90's.

Yeah there have been a few generations of both the PV & CS ranges. Those big 3U PV 1.2k & 2k amps must have sold by the truck load as there seemed to be loads of them about in the late 90's or so.
Strangely i'm pretty certain the gains were on the back of those. Good for installs, less so for mobile rigs.
I think there was a big CS-3000G model from this era too. Really expensive though so I don't think many were sold.
Cheers, Chris.

Yes the last CS range were a shame really. Had one in a few years ago that had managed to take out the entire venue's JBL infills by going DC. The protection had ignored the fault.

Had a CS1000x for a few years, it was my first 'proper' amp after upgrading from a pair of HH S130's, I used to run it with the DDT lights lit pretty much constantly. LOL
I also bought one of the big PV2000's as part of a job lot, that thing was a beast in bridge mode! I then got offered considerably more for it than what I paid for the whole job lot it came in so off it went. Big smile
