Perfect amp for running G Subs

just out of interest, i have just got a jbl mpx 1200 and do like its sound, would sp'ers prefer to have two jbls or an ev p3000, i must admit the ev p3000 looks a bit more professional and has speakon outputs, but then you can get two JBLs for about the same price

dont want to hijack the thread jus interested

presumably as i have two scoops with 18" eminence and a g-sub loaded with PD184s its better for me (or crucial!?) to have a seperate amp for both the scoops and the g sub rather than have one larger amp running everything. in this case the JBL is a good option, no?

also is it possible to upgrade the JBL to speakon outputs or is this a waste of time??

i 'upgraded' one of our macrotechs after one of the binding posts stapped off and changed it over to speakons, so i suppose the answer is yes, as long as you've got a good idea of what your doing.
