Just set your limiter on DSP to keep the amp just out of peak - I let the AGR flick on a little bit, then throttle back about 0.5dB on the DSP. Also, make sure your HPF is set correctly for the cabs, as your drivers should handle the power fine easily providing you keep excursion under control.

OK, so in a cab rated at 2400W , typically that would equate to  4800W Program power, and the peak power would potentially be 9600W.

Do you really need a peak limiter on bass?
