I agree with you in regards to this in one way... But not sae hiding figures, not all manufactures supple all figures and in some cases cant even give correct figures to what they do give out. Ill get the figures you request, ive already sent email to sae requesting the info you have asked for and will update these on all the fact sheets for each amp... The measurements on the spec sheets on my facebook page were 20ms burst figures @ 1khz sine wave and 1% THD Edited by bee - 05 April 2014 at 7:24pm |

I can order in as a special, bit would need to be with my main order as there is a minimum qty to import. The ca range is not one I was planning on stocking...

Is there any particular reason why you don't stock these but have the pxm's? (Bad rep?)

untested, that's all.... all amps are bench tested in the uk to confirm specs, this was done by tony. All there models can be imported.... but with a long wait time....

Aah OK, I have only seen positive comments on them so far, mentioned in this thread a fair bit: http://forum.speakerplans.com/alternatives-to-proline-3000_topic67221_post672134.html?KW=soundstandard#672134
There is some fairly detailed test results on the Darq PA18 which I think is a rebranded SAE/Soundstandard CA18: http://www.abeltronics.co.uk/amptesting.php?z=Darq_Audio_PA18 They measured slightly higher results than the spec sheet (2k instead of 1.8k), however SAE's website says... 'CA Series (New) - New CA series is brand-new successor to the old ones, with a great leap in quality.' ...which worries me that they may have changed the design on this new version??? Just restarting an old thread with a quick question:
I have been offered a matrix xt10000 for £750, quite tempting. It is more power than i'll need for some time but I'm considering now that a SAE might be a better buy. For the beginning we should be running 4 Cyclops CBE's and 4 mids of the XT though often this will be through a generator so I'm not sure what problems will arise through not having PFC. Really asking for advice from the more knowledgeable what is the best way to go? Go for the matrix or what?
