Plugging a powersoft K8 into a honda generator? I wanted to a hire a distro to do this. But when I went to hire the distro the reputable sound/event hire company said: You dont need a breaker or distro because its 16a to 16a. Powersoft K8s have PFC which will protect the amp and the honda generator will have its own breaker anyway. So basically hes saying I can plug my powersoft k8 into a generator direct and it will be fine. Is this sound advice? Please let me know.

Yes it will be fine, your only concern should be that the genny is large enough.. I'd want the an Eu7000i to power that amp.
