Hi all

 

Happy phat bass new year to you all ;)

 

Well we've started construction of our 1850s (just). Should have 4 done by march.

We want to go with the porn horns for mid and top but our technical prowess is still in it's infancy. Does anyone have any plans for use with the porns? Would it be as simple as getting them , measuring them and making a box to fit? Is the volume of the space to the rear of the cone critical for the mids? I assume that I use a compression driver with the tops.

We will have 4 1850s with the void 1000w drivers, so would we want 4 mid porn horns and 2 tops to go with them? 

As an aside:

If there is going to be a bass shootout in late april/early may we would love to come along with our rig and meet you all.

Best person to speak to is Joe (A.K.A. Loophole), as he has built cabinets for the Porn Horns.

The rear chamber needs to be as small as you can make it.

Hey since it's called a Porn Horn why not use a extra strong condom for the rear chamber !!!!

I thought it was because you had to sell everything you had to be able to afford the fibreglass pieces.
